OpenOffice by Sun Microsystems, a Microsoft Office like suite has already been a major break thorough to make Word, Excel etc. documents that too for free rather than using Microsoft’s Office which is paid software. Other features of OpenOffice include creation of Presentation and moreover it also supports PDF editing.

Now OpenOffice is looking for testers which can help them test OpenOffice 3.0. This product has been launched by Open Office team to make Open Office compatible with Microsoft Office 2007 and its new extensions documents. With PDF Import extension currently under development in OpenOffice 3.0, it would be a real free alternative to Acrobat too.

    I hate Open Office..
    There’s more feature that not comply with Microsoft..

    That is a personal choice mate.. Microsoft is obviously good..but they don’t give you anything for free..Plus the new document to pdf support in new open office make it worth using, which is currently absent in Microsoft Office and you have to install another paid software Adobe Reader Professional to use that feature. But Open Office is giving that to you free.. So it all boils down to personal choice and use..
