2008 freshers from Engineering colleges in Computer Science and IT discipline are seriously facing a drought of Jobs in IT sector in India. The most prominent reason cited by IT experts is the certain dip in the US Economy has a direct effect on projects of US clients that are flown for completion to India.
As a result of which most offices of USA based companies in India have dried up in terms of projects. This has apparently resulted in firing of many employees in big brand names where the frustration of extreme shortage projects has been laid on the employees. Even many IT companies who had recruited people for 2008 freshers batch have either delayed the joining or canceled it.
Other major reason for this falling of IT projects in India is also attributed to the rising of IT development in Philippines and Vietnam. The reports say that both Philippines and Vietnamese outlets of companies are giving the same quality of ok at less cost price to the project owners as compared to India.
