Cardio Exercise may not be a Sure fire Answer for Your Health

Cry with me if this sounds familiar. You are ready for a new body. You have your new workout clothes, a new pair of running shoes, and even a new iPod to accompany you in your endeavors. You walk into the gym, ready for action. You scan your surroundings. Basketball courts—too aggressive. Stretch mats—too light. Weight room—too heavy. Cardio machines—just what you were looking for.

So you hop onto an elliptical machine and coat yourself in your own blood, sweat and tears for the next hour. And at the end of the hour, you’re tired, fatigued, and in dire need of a gallon of water. You think to yourself, I have to endure this everyday? Your body protests, but you maintain your workout regime in hopes of achieving that new body. You’re a student, so you may nonchalantly assume that your low cost student health insurance will cover any potential over-exertion.

Now after two, four, six months, you step on the scale. And you’ve gained two pounds. You throw out your torn work-out clothes, you toss your worn pair of running shoes, and you sell your iPod on Craigslist. You vow to never visit the gym again.

South African magnate Mark Shuttleworth who already conquered space is a brave hearted CEO of Unubtux Linux. Shuttleworth made his fortune by selling an Internet company he started in his Cape Town garage. He then spent $20 million on becoming the world’s second space tourist in 2002, and the first African in orbit.

Mark in 2006 set his sights on cyberspace and later set himself to challenge Microsoft. Shuttleworth took on U.S. technology behemoth Microsoft by pioneering free computer software that he hopes will revolutionize the way computers are used, and make the Internet accessible to millions in Africa and other emerging markets.

Quillpad adds typing in Punjabi, Nepalese & other India Languages

Quillpad is an online typing toll which allows you to type your emails in popular Indian Languages. Quillpad which was launched in late 2006 uses unicode character typing technology that allows users to send e-mails in Indian languages .Off late Quillpad is using artificial intelligence (AI) to browse web pages or any documents containing Indian language content to learn that particular language’s patterns automatically that enables it to have predictive transliteration.

Anyone who can write their names on computers can now type directly in Indian languages (right now in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam) with Quillpad. It uses machine learning (AI) techniques to achieve this.

Knowledge Discovery has been proven to be a promising approach for enhancing the intelligence of software systems and services. Research in this area is broadly dispersed over various disciplines, caused partly by the fact that an adequate representation of the growing European Knowledge Discovery Community is missing.

Repository of large data sets which encompasses a wide variety of data types, analysis tasks, and application areas. The primary role of this repository is to enable researchers in knowledge discovery and data mining to scale existing and future data analysis algorithms to very large and complex data sets.
