The direct to home or DTH services based on satellite technology are making a big impression amongst the Indian customers. With the 2.5 years of coming to India the dth channel services have marked an impressive clientage of around 1 million users.
The war of dominance between various groups to be at the top of the Dth services is already visible. The big groups like Tata and Zee are already backing up Tata Sky and Dish TV. Later Reliance joined in with the launch of Big TV in March 2008.

And now its the Bharti Airtel Group which has launched its own Dth Service in the name of Digital TV via Satellites. The only thing which is making these services perform good is the value for money they over traditional Cable Television.
The digital quality, sound, on demand movie and many other features are helping this DTH venture to grow big. Another point of customers choosing DTH is the fact that big corporate and private sectors are backing it up.
Customers would obviously look for cheap and best service. For this reason Reliance slashed the entry fee to Rs.1000 to gain customers which 2 times less tha the Tata dn Dish initial Suscription .Anyways in the corporate wars customers have a happy time
