MySpace for BlackBerry smartphones was made available just a week ago. The MYSpace fans have created a world record by making over 4,00,000 downloads of the BlackBerry app for MySpace since the application’s launch on November 13, 2008 according to the RIM press release.
Through the MySpace for BlackBerry smartphones application, users collectively sent and received more than 15 million messages and updated their mood and status over two million times in the first week.
This is an all-time high for both MySpace and RIM in terms of first week application downloads. It is available for download at www.blackberry.com/myspace or m.myspace.com from your BlackBerry® Browser.
