Google is really ending this year with lots of features which can make your Gmailing Experience worthwhile. The new feature from Gmail enables you to send text SMS ad chat with your friend(on Mobile Phone) through your Gmail Chat itself.

This a much needed update from Google as the feature had some problems which are supposedly fixed now from Google’s End. The feature allows you to keep on chatting with your friends till they reply from their Cell Phones.

Google_Free_SMSIf you want to send text to your friends just enter their number in Google Chat feature and it will do the rest. Currently this service is operative for USA people. On the receiving end, when you get a text message from Gmail on your phone, it will come from a number in the 406 area code.

You just reply to it and Gmail server will redirect it to the sender’s chat client. But as mobile phony user you may not want to receive any chat just reply with the word BLOCK. If you don’t want to get texts from anybody using Gmail, reply with the word STOP.
